yup seems RC10 has an issue.
for those that don't have RC9 and are looking for a link softpedia still has it posted here: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Windows-XP-PowerPacker-Download-23967.html

I've tried with the settings file below with a source of MCE OEM SP3 integrated, with and without OEMAUTOScan integrated. May I ask what source you are using, OS you are running from and what update packs you integrated before powerpacking? I've run it without any problems..

As an example, in this instance I was running from a Win7 x64 environment (as admin) and the source was XP Pro SP3 (MSDN VLK MD5: 5bf476e2fc445b8d06b3c2a6091fe3aa).
With NO modifications, RC10 completed successfully.
Same source but with U_H update pack and various addons (integrated using autoimage), then RC10 fails with the above error.
I find it odd that an unmodified source works yet a modified source fails.
Can you tell us what changes were made to the boot.ini creation code.

Hi mr_smartepants,
I tried it with your settings and I think I've found why. Indeed, during the boot generation, Powerpacker moves any OEM subdirectory it finds in an XP source to the root of the destination directory. If there is no OEM subdirectory, it finds nothing in its array of files and thus the reported error. The reason it does not have this error in an untouched source, is that there is an OEM subdirectory here:
D:\Docs\XP\XP_EN\PRO_RETAIL\SP3I\I386\WINNTUPG\OEM
With a dir /b /s command it shows up and so the array is not empty and the script continues. I've added a check to verify if there is nothing matching that description to just move on.
I'm not sure of all the changes that were made in the generation of the boot directory between RC9 and 10 other than I've changed the hexediting of the renamed setupldr.bin for winnt.sif.
I've released RC11 with the bug fix. Please let me know if there are still problems packing.
Thanks,
Spinning Carrots

I tried RC11 and can confirm it fixes all the above problems.
Great work!
