Hi everybody,
I'm running RVM Integrator 1.4.3 (English) under Windows Vista. I am attempting to integrate RVM Update Pack 2.1.8 into a Windows XP SP2 source on an external USB drive. I have set up a separate destination folder on the USB drive for the newly integrated source. No advanced options are set.
When I start the integration, files are successfully copied into the working directory. However, when RVM attempts to clear the read-only attributes on the source, I get an error that "Update Pack Integrator has stopped working." The following error gets thrown in the Event Viewer application log:
Faulting application RVM_Integrator_1.4.3.exe, version 1.4.3.0, time stamp 0x44df14f2, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00061a56, process id 0x15d4, application start time 0x01c77078c8204510.
I have tried running RVM using Vista's "Run as Administrator" option, as well as under Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode, with the same results.
Is running RVM under Vista supported? Has anyone had a similar experience or have a solution? Thanks!
