Hello everybody,
I've been trying to solve the problem described below for some time. But after many tests it came clear the issue only occured using RVMintegrator. Therefore I am thinking RVMintegrator fails at that point.
What am I talking about?
RIS deployment unattended.
i used:
windows xp professional sp3 (dutch)
windows xp post-sp3 updatepack
windows IE7-addon
RVMintegrator (latest version)
symptons:
-)Windows installation failed completely (setuperr.log (http://www.airtje.nl/ris/setuperr.txt) is full of errors)
-)no VPN connections are available
-)Following services are not able to start (get error 1075)
* Security Center
* System Event Notification
* Windows Firewall (WF) / Internet-connection sharing (ICS)
-) UpdatePack INF seems not being processed since none of the registry entries are applied.
-) IE is not installed (starting it just flashes a window
-) WMI and Indexing service (bottom 2) are not available at this screen (computer management):
