Hello, firstly thank you for a GREAT application - it works perfectly no matter I do administrative or standard installation. However, even if integrate all the latest updates including those not featured on Windows Update site, it still asks for the previous ones that have been replaced.
To overcome this issue, I've made a simple registry fix so that our favourite update site won't ask for them anymore.

1. Make an integrated installation of your choice.
2. After you're done, go to the directory where the new installer resides.
3. Navigate to FILES\SETUP & launch PRO11.reg in Notepad.
4. Go to the end of the file and attach the following:

There shouldn't be any need to add those reg entries. The ones in your list are the most recent and haven't been replaced. If you are having problems with these entries not being added can you post your log for the OI. There doesn't seem to have been any problems with the entries since I went back to the reg file method or nobody has posted about it.

Cheers

Hi, thanks for fast reply. Microsoft sadly doesn't spread all the updates both for Office & Windows. When talking about the MOST latest ones I meant those:

Outlook 2003 hotfix package (Engmui.msp, Olkintl.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960103/

Outlook 2003 hotfix package (Riched20.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960421/

Outlook 2003 hotfix package (Outlook.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959628/

Excel 2003 hotfix package (Excel.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960241/

Word 2003 hotfix package (Winword.msp): December 19, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/961342/

Access 2003 hotfix package (Msaccess.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960319/

Access 2003 hotfix package (Vbe6.msp): December 16, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960420/

Visio 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package (Visio2003engine.msp, Visio2003intl.msp): October 28, 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958641/

You can check on other updates on http://kbupdate.info site. If there will be need I can do an integration once more & attach the log for you. What's funny those updates I've made reg entries for, were also on my integration list, but the program probably ignored them because of their redundancy.

Still, that's just a minor issue :)

I had a look at the links in your post, thanks. Although MS say that these updates do not replace any others they have the same name as some of the ones in the list so when they are all extracted to the same dir they get overwritten.

I had to make some mods a while ago for KB945432, this is explained in the help file but MU shows it as needed when it has been replaced by KB953432. The KB953432 patch information also specifies the KB945432 GUID as obsolete in its ObsoletedPatch element. What I can do it make that change to all of the msps by renaming them to KBXXXXXX_Filename.msp this will stop things being overwritten. It will also have the disadvantage of integrating updates that have been replaced and adding the registry entries for them.

I suppose the onus for getting the latest updates it now on the user. This new method wont affect the HotPack building so you will still have the same problem if you use\create one of those packs.

Please test this build and post the log file after. Thanks
