HI,
I have a laptop that loads to Vista desktop and within seconds it will start saving settings and then reboot. I have seen many issues of this on the net regarding XP but nothing to resolve the issue in Vista.
I have removed the H/D and used many tools to remove certain infections but the issue is still there (although it's now virus free). I have tried another H/D in the laptop and it works fine. The original H/D shows up as being over temp but other than that it gets a clean bill of health.
I presume it is similar to the XP one where it changes a registry key or 2!
I know I can wipe and re install but I would like to know for my own knowledge how or if this could be fixed!!,,,:confused:
