I'm new to this so please to tolerant. I'm creating a bootable xp lite usb drive and wanted to update the install by slipstreaming the latest updates to win xp sp2. I downloaded the file and it says it's a RAR file. I try to unzip it and it says the file is corupted. I downloaded the file from every place I could find on the net with the same results. The file reads 'RVM_Integrator_1.6.7z' the file is 870kb. Now right off the bat I see something wrong here. Is this file extractable, executable or am I missing something here? There's no extension on the file. I know it must be something simple, but I'm bleary eyed and dizzy from trying to get this done, Can someone help please.

The 7z file extension indicates a 7-Zip compressed file. 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) and WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/), among other file compression managers, should easily be able to extract the file.

Thanks so much. Trying to work without sleep is stupid. I had to select the 7z extension as one of the zip types winrar handles. Thanks again.

You're welcome. I could use a bit more sleep myself at the moment. ;)
